Nature Tykes

This half-hour discovery program allows the child to experience nature with their parent through the use of their senses and motion.

Ages 18 months to 3 years, with adult

Reservations are required

Fee per child:  $3.00, BCNES members $1.00

Frogs and Tadpoles                                            

Thursday, September 4                 10:00-10:30 a.m.

              Come meet a real live frog and tadpoles!  Learn about metamorphosis and see what frogs look like in their two stages of life.  Go outside to hop like a frog, pretend to catch a bug with your tongue and see if there are any frogs in the pond.

Seeds

Seeds are all around us!  Plants use some pretty sneaky tricks to help their seeds move around.  Try your hand at getting different seeds to stick, roll, fly or float; then go outside on a seed hunt of your own!

We are Weasels

Saturday, November 8                   10:00-10:30 a.m.

Thursday, November 13                10:00-10:30 a.m.

              There are several animals in the weasel family, including minks, wolverines, skunks and otters.  Join the puppets as we find out about a few of these cousins, then go out on a hunt looking for animal clues.
