Hot soup provided for everyone who braves the river in winter!

Frozen Creek

If the waterways freeze over in winter, where do all the water creatures go?? Let’s bundle up to explore frozen Cocktown Creek and look for traces of animals and their winter hideouts. Bring mom or dad. Warm drink and snack provided!

Sweet Trees

Tuesday, February 21                        10:00-11:30 a.m.

The park staff has tapped the maple trees and we're hoping for a good harvest of sap so we can make delicious maple syrup. The ranger needs your help as she gathers the sap and records the data. Wear warm clothes, be prepared for the weather. Bring a grown up to help and we'll drink warm drinks and eat warm cookies when we come in from our work.
