Teen Homeschool Day - How Do I Get There from Here?

Ages 12-16 years, adult participation not required

Does your teen know how to read a map? Could they use one to get themselves home if they needed to? In this class we will practice with different kinds of maps, focusing on what types of situation each is good for, and practice making our own. We will also look at compasses and practice using those.

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Program Fee is per person:

  • Free for Society members
  • $8 per person for nonmembers
