Nature Tykes: Apples and Other Fall Fruits

Nature Tykes

For Ages 18 months to 3 years

This discovery program allows the child to experience nature with their parent through the use of their senses and motion.

 

Apples and Other Fall Fruits

MMMM…delicious fruit! There are lots of fruits that ripen in the fall. Can you identify an apple? What about a persimmon? Join Miss Shannan as we learn about fruit (and maybe taste some!) then head out to find where they grow. End with song and dance!

 

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

 

Reservations are required. Register online, by mail, or by phone

 

Adult participation is required.

Fee is per child.

$1 for BCNES members

$3 for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
