This is a special opportunity for current CCNRD volunteers to get together with a park naturalist and explore a little visited part of the Battle Creek Cypress Swamp property. We will trek thru the winter swamp to the county champion bald cypress tree – the biggest of its kind in the county. After the walk, stay for a pot luck lunch to get warmed up or head home.
