THIS PROGRAM IS CANCELED.

Ages 8 years and up, families. Adults required for this program.

Take a night hike through the swamps and ponds of Flag Ponds to look and listen for frogs and other night time animals.  We will learn some frog calls before we set out to see who we can hear and possibly see along the trail.  The hike  is approximately 1.5 miles. Please  bring flashlights and wear shoes that could get muddy on the spring trails. 

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Program Fee: Free to Society members
$8 per family for nonmembers

Reservations are required by April 10.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
