Everyone loves a good snack, but as we get closer to winter the snacks our animal friends eat get more and more important. Come explore some of Calvert County's wildlife's favorite snacks and even how they eat them!

Please note that food will be present, so make sure to notify us of any allergies if you register to attend!


Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Advanced Reservations are required - Please register by October 26.

COVID Policies and Procedures 

The Calvert Nature Society has developed policies and procedures for public program operations based on state and CDC guidelines. 

Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant is ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns. 

Prior to participation in any Society sponsored program,  we will ask each individual, if under 18 a parent, to complete a participant waiver.

Please download and complete the waiver prior to the program. You may complete it online and email to CypressSwamp@CalvertCountyMD.gov, or print it and bring to  the program.  The waiver needs to be completed for each in-person program.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
