For children going into grades 9-12
This short and intense mini-camp will bring teens up-close and personal with the Patuxent River. The first day will be spent learning paddling fundamentals: safety, strokes, and rescues. Then we’ll test our skills and learn about the natural history of the river with a paddle adventure and an overnight camp-out on the river.
Dinner Thursday, breakfast Friday, all kayak equipment, and tents are provided.
