Entering Grades 6-8

Monday, July 9 – Thursday, July 12, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (EXCEPT Wednesday)

Wednesday, July 11, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Eastern Shore trip

Friday, July 13, 4:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. Owl hike at night (Dinner will be provided)

Take your interest in birds to the next level with this camp.  From hikes to boat trips we will be learning about the many species of birds that call our area home. We will teach you how to identify birds by their song and appearance.  You will also get the chance to observe a bird banding research project. Bring your binoculars and your camera for a fun week long adventure ending with an owl prowl on Friday night! 

Bonus activity: Campers are invited to observe our songbird banding project on Saturday July 14 at Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park.

Fee per camper: Society members: $150
Nonmembers: $180
