For Families with children of all ages

If you’re not yet 14, bring a parent along to help with the projects.

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp, Prince Frederick

Come join a cadre of other volunteers to work on a variety of stewardship projects. We’ll plants trees, clear trails, remove invasive plants, and spruce up the areas around the buildings. If you need hours for community service, bring your paperwork along.

Dress for outdoor work: long pants, long sleeves, sturdy hiking boots. Snacks will be provided.

Bring: Water, work gloves, small hand tools (some will be provided)

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
