M.A.P.S

MAPS stands for: Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship. Bird banding programs help to provide a better understanding of the population size, productivity and survival of many bird species. Join us for a round of banding and get a close look at the birds of our area as well as the banding process.


2017 Summary

Over the 8 days we opened the nets in 2017, we banded 129 individuals of 26 species.

On one day, we heard or saw 50 species.
