For children going into grades 9-12

Monday, July 25, Tuesday, July 26 (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.), Wednesday, July 27 (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

Thursday, July 28, 8:30 a.m. overnight through Friday, July 29, 9:00 a.m. (no camp after 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29)

Each day of this camp will bring campers up-close and personal with the Patuxent River and the creeks that surround Calvert County. Campers will learn paddling fundamentals: safety, strokes, and rescues - as well as learning firsthand about water quality and the natural history of the river. We’ll end the week with a day-long paddle adventure and an overnight camp out.

Dinner Thursday, breakfast Friday, all kayak equipment, and tents are provided.

Fee per camper:

Society members: $210 per camper
Nonmembers: $240 per camper

Monday – Battle Creek Cypress Swamp
Tuesday– Kings Landing Park 
Wednesday – meets at Battle Creek Cypress Swamp for transport to Jefferson Patterson Park 
Thursday - meets at Kings Landing Park for transport to Lower Marlboro
Friday – pick up at Kings Landing Park
