Registration is closed
For Ages: 6-9 years, Adult participation required.

What animals lived here millions of years ago? Hike along the beach with the naturalist to see what kind of fossil evidence you can find.  Bring a water bottle and a container for fossils, and prepare to get your feet wet.


Naturalist in Charge: Shannon Steele

Reservations are required. Registration opens May 1 for members; May 8 for nonmembers.

Program Fee: Free for Society members
$8 per family for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
