If your child will need medication of any kind during camp, or will be picked up by anyone other than you, please fill out and bring these forms with you.  they can be found here:

For children entering grades 3rd –5th in Fall 2018

Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Whether your child is already at home outside or needs a little encouragement, this outdoor skills camp introduces campers to some of the basic skills necessary to keep them safe and self-reliant in the “wild.” We’ll spend the week exploring the natural resources of Calvert County while learning important outdoor skills like: navigation, animal tracking, shelter building, and fire safety.

Location varies by day. The schedule below is tentative and subject to change. 

Monday: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Tuesday: Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm

Wednesday: Kings Landing Park

Thursday: Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park

Friday: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

Fee per camper: Society members: $150
Nonmembers: $180

Please register by June 1
