Looking for enrichment activities for your teen homeschooler? This month’s class will focus on the animals and plants live in the Bay and why they are important. We will sample the nearshore life with a seine net - identifying what we find and discussing their place in the ecosystem.

Chest waders will be provided.

Free for Society members.
Nonmembers pay $8 per person

Teen homeschool days will give your teen a chance to get hands on experience with science and nature activities, provide an opportunity for service, and have fun in the company of other teens while doing it. 

Calvert Nature Society is dedicated to the protection and preservation of Calvert County’s natural heritage and the creation of an environmentally literate and aware community.
