Father’s Day Kayak Adventure

Enjoy a fun, family paddle to visit the Great Blue Heron families at their tree nests! Bring a bagged lunch for a pier picnic on Black Swamp Creek, and have clothes/shoes you can go for a forest hike in.

Ages 9 years to adult

Participants must be at least 9 years old to accompany an adult in a double kayak, and at least 12 years old to ride in a single kayak. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Location: Kings Landing Park Meet at the parking lot by the pool.

Reservations and payment are required in advance.

Fee is per person. $15 for Society members
$30 for nonmembers. Bring your own kayak and get $10 off the program fee.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
