Maple Tapping - from Sap to Syrup

All ages and families, adult supervision required.

Join the Naturalist to learn the process of tapping Maple trees to collect sap that can be boiled into delicious syrup. We will have an overview of the process and history of Maple "sugaring", then visit the our local Maple trees to get a first-hand opportunity to learn this simple skill. After we visit our trees, warm up by an outdoor campfire and toast a marshmallow. Program will be all outside, so dress for the weather.
