Families and Individuals, Ages 6+. Adult supervision required
Let's give a warm, summer welcome to this flashy, flying friend. Fireflies begin lighting up the night at this time of the year. We will learn about their natural history and spend some time collecting and identifying the different species found in Calvert County. Each participant should have their own flashlight. Wear sturdy shoes for walking over uneven terrain, plenty of insect repellent, and bring water to drink. We will meet at the Main Entrance (not the Equestrian Entrance)
Location: Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm Main Entrance
Naturalist in Charge: Jessy Oberright
Reservations are required by Thursday, June 16, 2020
Advanced Reservations are required. No walk ins allowed
