Nature's Trivia Family Feud

Think you are a nature expert? Well grab your family and friends and come test your skills at Nature Trivia while helping benefit your local nature programs.

This will be similar to our trivia programs of the past but we have made it family friendly allowing ages 12 and up to participate. There is a prize for the team finishing in first as well as door prizes.

When you register you can opt to purchase dinner including pizza, drink and snacks for the evening.  You are welcome to bring your own dinner and snacks too!

Check-in will start at 4:30 p.m. and  Pizza dinner and Trivia will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Location: Wisner Hall at Kings Landing Park

Advanced registration required. Please register by February 13, 2023

Program Fee: $20 per team (Fee must be paid to be considered registered).

The registration fee supports all of our education programs.

Don't know who will be on your team? Not a problem. Register anyway, and we can add team members later.

Max team size: 6

Rules

  • Must be 12 years or older. 
  • Team must have a team name.
  • Up to 6 people (physically present) per team. Minimum team size is one person.
  • Every person at the team table will be counted as part of your maximum team size.
  • No cell/smartphone or other outside information source. We will have a cell phone parking lot in the room. You may not use your cell phone during a round until your team’s answers are turned in to the judge.
  • There is no partial credit for an answer.
  • The quiz master will be the final arbiter of correct answers and scoring. 
  • Any rule not listed here may be made up on the spot by the quiz master, Gene Groshon.
  • Current employees of Calvert County Natural Resources, members of the Calvert Nature Society Board of Directors, or their families, may not be a team member.

The Calvert Nature Society has developed policies and procedures for public program operations based on state and CDC guidelines.

Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant(s) are ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns.

Prior to participation in any Society sponsored program, we will ask each individual, if under 18 a parent, to agree to the participant waiver. The waiver agreement needs to be completed for each in-person program.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
