Exploring your Backyard and Beyond with iNaturalist and the City Nature Challenge

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

In this workshop, you'll learn how to use iNaturalist to photograph and map your observations in a few easy steps. You'll learn about the City Nature Challenge and other projects that can use your observation, how to verify other observations, and other basic features of the iNaturalist app.

We'll go over the basic functions found in the app, then head out to make observations. We'll spend time identifying the things we find--and maybe even identify other iNat users' observations.

Whether you're a current iNaturalist user or brand new to the technology, join us for this fun learning opportunity.

When you respond, include your iNaturalist handle, if you have one.

CURRENT VOLUNTEERS: Please respond to the volunteer opportunity: https://calvertstewards.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=787818
