Natures Explorers: Salamander Migration

For Ages 6 to 9  years

These programs allow student to investigate firsthand the life found in and around our area.

 

Salamander Migration

The marbled salamanders are migrating to lay their eggs. Come find out more about them and hike to the salamander traps to see if we have caught any. While we are out, we will also take some dip nets to the swamp to see what we can find. Wear your favorite play clothes and shoes that can get dirty.

 

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Reservations are required. Register online, by mail, or by phone

 

Adult participation is encouraged, but not required..

Fee is per child.

$1 for BCNES members

$3 for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
