Celebrate Trails Day Hike

Join park staff for a hike at Ward Farm Nature Park for Celebrate Trails Day. Get outside for an approximately 3 mile trail hike to explore the woods, ponds and creeks at Ward Farm. We will enjoyed the varied terrain on the East Ridge, Fox Den and Hall Creek Trails and consider the changes in the landscape over time, from the earliest indigenous inhabitants through modern conservation efforts within the nature park. 

This hike is NOT stroller friendly, but infants and toddlers in backpacks are welcome.

Location: Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park

Advanced registration recommended.

This is a free event.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
