Adults and teens

Never heard of a Swamp Candle?  This is a nickname given to the Prothonotary Warbler due to its bright yellow coloring and habit of perching on top of cypress knees. We will hike along the swamp boardwalk learning about this unique species and the color banding project that staff are running to help promote conservation for Prothonotary Warblers.

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

Fee is per person. Free for members

$8 for nonmembers
