Come out to Flag Ponds Nature Park to learn all about bats, the amazing mammals that fly! 

Start the evening with a pizza dinner then learn all about the cool features and different types of bats that live in Maryland. We will hike throughout the swamp to see if there are any bats or sign of bats being in our swamp. We will make a batty craft and play some games about their echolocation!.

Advanced Reservations are required. 

Program Fee Per Family:  $30 for members, $45 for nonmembers

The Registration Fee includes a large cheese pizza, drinks and chips for a each family. You have the option of ordering a second large pizza during registration. 

Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant(s) are ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
