Winter Walk at the Swamp

For individuals of all ages. 

The Battle Creek Cypress Swamp boardwalk looks different in winter.

Together we will discover the animals and plants that hibernate or are most active there during the winter. We will end the program with a craft that is based on the animals and plants that we saw.

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp Nature Center

Advanced Registration is required. Please register by February 15th.

Program Fee

Free for Society members
$8 per family for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
