Families with older children ages 8 and up and adults

Take a walk through time at Kings Landing Park. From the earliest of times this park has been home to indigenous people, colonist, tobacco farmers, enslaved families and summer campers. Learn the fascinating history of this little park along the Patuxent. Discover how it was relevant to Maryland Naval history. Explore the remnants of the former YMCA camp for Baltimore inner city youth, the only camp welcoming African American youth in Maryland during segregation. 

This will be a moderately strenuous hike on uneven surfaces. Not suitable for strollers and children younger than 8.

$8 per family for nonmembers

Program fees are per family. Please register all your children on one entry.
