Individuals and Families with children ages 9 and up

Join us around the campfire to celebrate National Moth Week and discover the fascinating nighttime lives of moths. We’ll gather after dark to learn how moths navigate the night, why they’re drawn to light, and the important roles they play as pollinators and part of the food web. Using special lights and simple observation techniques, we’ll see what fluttery visitors arrive and document them for scientific research. Perfect for curious kids and grown-ups alike—this cozy evening will leave you seeing the night in a whole new way.
