…during the day? Prepare to be amazed as we welcome the Southern Maryland Astronomical Society (SMAS) for an out of this world daytime stargazing session. SMAS will bring their telescopes and be our guides for this adventure through the daytime skies. We will learn about our closest star (the sun) and how to view it safely, as well as what other celestial objects can be viewed during the daylight hours. This event is weather and sky condition-dependent. In the event of rain or poor viewing conditions, the event will be moved to Friday, July 31, same time.
