Fish BioBlitz

Registration

Registration is closed

For Ages: 6-9 years
Adult participation required.

Program Fee: Free for BCNES members
$8 per family for nonmembers

Scientists need our help to take a global census of fish.  Wear your bathing suit or old clothes and water shoes, and go seining with a naturalist to capture fish along the shoreline.  We will take pictures of our catch and submit data to the Global Fish BioBlitz.

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
