Children must be at least 10 years old. If you’re not yet 16, bring a parent along to help with the projects.

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park, Lusby

Come join a cadre of other volunteers. Thanks to grants from the Chaney Foundation, Calvert Garden Club, and Dominion Foundation, we’ll be building improved picnic facilities and boardwalks at Flag Ponds. Bring heavy work gloves, we’ll provide the tools and supplies needed. Ages 10-adult, under 16 years with an adult. If you need hours for community service, bring your paperwork along.

Dress for outdoor work: long pants, long sleeves, sturdy hiking boots. Bring sturdy work gloves if you have them.
